Deforestation is a very serious problem! Funding is needed this year to kick start a planting programme and provide organic pesticides to replace the deforestation that has already taken place.
The picture to the left shows teak trees, only two years old. The local people are putting their stamp on a Carbon Footprint for future generations.
The plants of the rain forest hold many 'magical' properties that pharmaceutical companies are currently researching. A vast range of endangered wildlife will also be saved by this tree planting programme.
